Net Neutrality : A fight for Freedom on Internet

As all of us are aware about suffering with hefty Internet charges from different ISPs (Internet Service Providers). The term Net Neutrality is the term trending these days on Social Media Channels. Earlier we were fighting for our basis rights, now the time is to fight for the neutrality of Internet usage.

All of us are somehow having addiction of Facebook before facewash and Internet is the only source of having those addiction to be fulfilled.

With the introduction of Internet.org some of the social media sites have been made free for us. But this is not the expectations, We want everything with uniformity so we need a consistent plan and the charges should not vary as per the sites.

Network neutrality is the idea that your cellular, cable, or phone internet connection should treat all websites and services the same. Big companies like AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast want to treat them differently so they can charge you more depending on what you use.

Due to intense lobbying by telecom operators like Airtel and Vodafone, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is planning to allow them to block apps and websites to extort more money from consumers and businesses — an extreme violation of net neutrality.

TRAI has released a consultation paper with 20 questions spread across 118 complicated pages and wants you to send them an e-mail by 24th of April, 2015.
