Mind the difference - Web Designer, Developer or Administrator

During my recent job hunts; I have come across a new experience about the position the industries are offering for web professionals. My personal experience says "Nothing matters, but the profile should have the relevant skills ".

If you are working as a web designer and having skills like HTML, CSS, Javascript(includes nodeJs, angularJs or many more), XML, PHP, Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw and database skills (like MYSQL,DB2, MongoDB and so on); these skills will always keeps your profile open for web developer, Designer or Administrator position.

But if you are limited to HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator and some graphical softwares; these skill sets can only offer you the Web Designer.

Let's talk about the Web Administrator. The skills required for this designation is almost similar to Web Developer but you can differentiate it with the designation getting offered. It's all about your personal opinion. Education sector offers you Web administrator and Industries prefers the Developer.

One of the dynamics of these designation differs, once you are selected for AICTE approved colleges. These colleges don't offer any of these but you will be selected as a Technical Assistant. Don't feel low or demoted. As I already told you, "It's all about your skills".
Opportunities are always for you, Just be ready with the tools to be hired.
